"Spending time at Tambuti Lodge is like spending time with your family but with 5 star service. Malcolm is a fantastic host who cannot do enough to make his visitors comfortable. Bert is an expert guide full of knowledge and fantastic stories. Edith and Ashley cooked wonderful food. 5 stars all around. I highly recommend visiting Tambuti Lodge. I will be going back."

"Wow, where to start. For background info, my wife and lived for 3 years in Kenya and have visited numerous luxury lodges and been on various types of game drives. THIS lodge was without doubt the most impressive we have ever visited and the whole staff were incredibly friendly. The food was exceptional and especially in the evening had a dinner party vibe. "Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."

"Our family of 2x adults and 2x kids aged 14 and 9 stayed for 5 nights in January. We had such a great time - Joseph was a sensational ranger and a character also - managed to find us almost everything obscure we asked about on our last drive. Also Tito / Tato (?) gave a really interesting snake demo - I've seen a few of these before elsewhere but his was really great and he was very patient afterwards with my kids holding the snakes. "I found a place that the air cnditioning was very important. They confirned that there was air conditioning in the room. When we got there he said 'sorry aircon not working but we giving you a fan' A loud noisy fan which did nothing except move hot air from side to side. We did not sleep the entire night. Without aircon the mosquitos had a field day on us. Very disappointed and will not use again. "

"It's a small guest house with 3 rooms with hardly any catering options in the area. It's very close to the gate of Pilanesberg NP. The pool is very small but big enough to cool down on a hot day. In the night there is a bright light outside and with the white and thin curtain it's also bright in the room. The owner Joyce is very friendly.
